You always pay 1.20%; what changes is how it is split. In green, the tiers where the creator gets at least what they would get on PONS (0.70%). Total volume only goes up, so a tier once reached never drops.
The table shows the case where the buy came through a referral link. Without a referral, that share stays with the platform — which becomes 0.75% in the first tier and 0.50% at the top. Either way you pay 1.20%: a referral never makes your trade more expensive.
